I know, I know… this isn’t the kind of movie most people romanticize. But I keep coming back to The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with Ben Stiller.
There’s a line that repeats through the film:
“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”
Think about that. That’s it. That’s the meaning of life.
We’re not meant to be trapped in cubicles, grinding just to make rent. We’re meant to love, fuck, fight, explore, and be free. We’re meant to experience.
We’re meant to experience life. Not be consumed by it.
