I needed to shake up the routine. Keep the body guessing. So for the last few weeks, I’ve been running my own version of a prison workout – simple, brutal, and effective.
The Prison Workout (4–5 days a week):
- Jumprope — 3 rounds x 1 min each
- Push Ups — 100
- Squats — 100
- Sit Ups — 100
- Pull Ups — 20 (I know, I know… one day I’ll get to 100)
No fancy gym. No expensive gear. Just sweat, repetition, and the nagging voice in your head telling you to push through. It’s the kind of workout that strips away excuses. You don’t need much. Only the will to suffer a like the masochist I am.
Funny thing is, the more I lean into it, the freer I feel. Structure doesn’t always have to mean confinement. Sometimes it’s the simplest routines that set you loose.
