• My 2025 Investing Thesis

I normally don’t share this publicly and it just lives on my Reflect Notes app. But hell, why not post it publicly. This is absolutely not financial advice nor am I a financial advisor. These are just things I believe going into 2025 and am going to bet on.

    1. Convenience as a Commodity:

People will always pay for an easier, more convenient life. Companies like $HIMS thrive on this principle, offering “health in a pill” with minimal friction to accessing their prescriptions—an ultimate shortcut that resonates with modern consumers.

    2. Consumer Spending in a Bull Market:

A Trump presidency is likely to fuel a bullish economic environment, putting more cash in consumers’ pockets. This excess capital will find its way into speculative assets, driving demand for meme stocks and NFTs. Platforms like $HOOD and $COIN, as market leaders, will be well-positioned to benefit.

    3. The AI Revolution:

Artificial intelligence is set to redefine industries at an exponential pace, driving unprecedented demand for compute and energy. Chipmakers like $NVDA stand to capture substantial market share as this wave accelerates, boosted further by favorable economic conditions and lower interest rates.

    4. Steady Growth in Index Funds:

While they won’t deliver explosive returns, index funds will continue to offer consistent, predictable performance, making them a reliable core investment.

    5. Data-Driven Skyrocketing Markets:

With the rise of AI, data will become the most valuable resource, fueling dramatic market growth. Companies like $PLNTR, which excel at harnessing enterprise data, will unlock efficiencies and insights that were previously unimaginable.

    6. Direct-to-Consumer Media Efficiency:

AI will transform direct-to-consumer media, enabling companies like $META and $SPOT to enhance user experiences, streamline operations, and reduce costs. This will drive profits, growth, and long-term customer retention.

    7. Banking on Increased Lending:

As consumers enjoy more disposable income, banks will see a surge in loans, credit card use, and mortgages. Financial institutions like $JPM and $WF are well-positioned to capitalize on this trend.

    8. Musk’s Visionary Ventures:

Elon Musk remains the frontrunner in bringing Star Trek-level advancements to reality. Betting on Tesla’s diversified portfolio—spanning EVs, full self-driving, batteries, charging infrastructure, and robotics—offers a stake in multiple revolutionary markets.

    9. Crypto’s Second Wind:

While the cryptocurrency market may generate excitement, Bitcoin ($BTC) is the only asset truly worth betting on. Ignore the hype and focus on the original and most stable crypto asset.

    Best,

    Alex Medick
