Brad’s Status

Last night I watched Brad’s Status. I’m ashamed how closely I could relate to the main character. The depression, the intrusive thoughts, the imaginary competition, the envy. All of it. It felt like I was watching a major part of myself from an outsiders point of view.

And that made me sad. I say that past-tense like it still isn’t holding true the following day. I still feel badly about it.

Now the million dollar question – what to do about it?

The routine can’t stay the same. After all, we all know the definition of insanity.
So to break the cycle, something must change.

Something has to change.

I mean, what do I have to be so damn negative about? I have the world in front of me, fears behind me. Now it’s time to just break on through.
